introduction to computing

There are several topics/concepts that are fundamental to the working of almost all kinds of computing devices. Examples are binary numbers, boolean logic, state machines, data representation, data storage, central processors, instructions and programs, data structures, algorithms, etc.

This course helps students gain a conceptual understanding of such fundamentals. Knowing what actually happens within devices such as computers and smart phones is beneficial to be a good programmer and to be capable of designing new systems.

This program is meant for students in grades 7 and above.
